Outdoor Leisure Footwear Brand, Tretorn, Breaks New Ground By Opening Its First Ever Freestanding Store In Asia!

Hosted by Tracy Abad of “The Wakeup Show” on Mellow 94.7, select members from the nation’s most prestigious media outlets joined invited VIPs and celebrities for an intimate “outdoor” inspired picnic and mini-fashion show in Robinson’s Galleria for the launch of the new boutique. Also present was Mr. Loris Spadaccini, General Manager for Tretorn Lifestyle Division and Tretorn North America, who traveled to the Philippines from Boston, MA to attend the momentous occasion.
“Our decision to open a third store in the Philippines is first and foremost because of the fantastic partnership we have with The Primer Group of Companies,” states Mr. Spadaccini. He adds, “Sales have been fantastic and recent growth has been exponential so we decided with Primer to open.”
The newest branch is quaint and charming and spotlights a wide variety of Tretorn’s sneakers including: the Nylite, the classic rubber shoes with the defining “gullwings” logo, and the Skymra Canvas, which feature the distinctive crossing elastic bands in place of shoe laces.
The extensive selection of sneakers are complimented by an entire wall devoted to the latest styles of Tretorn’s newest rubber rain boots for both men and women. The new collection features bright and bold colors and are perfect for the typhoons expected to flood the streets of Manila this rainy season.
“Everyone has been telling me that they use to wear Tretorn sneakers but what many people don’t realize is Tretorn is over 120 years old and first started as a boots company,” Mr. Spadaccini confesses. “Boots account for [51%] of Tretorn’s revenue so it is important that we showcase our latest styles and designs in the Philippines.”
The successful launch of Tretorn’s new boutique and excitement surrounding its latest collections is extremely encouraging as the brand’s parent distributor looks to aggressively expand over the coming years.
